We have a fairly ordinary urban garden in Portslade (Sussex, England). However we do have badgers living at the end of it. For Christmas 2006 we got a web camera so we could find out what the badger was getting up to. The camera has been in and out of action as connectors corroded (I am getting good at soldering!), the badgers chewed through the cable (it now runs through a hosepipe), the camera filled with water and stopped working (had to but a new one). Anyway this site contains some of the more interesting moments we have captured.

To watch a video clip click on one of the pictures with a frame like the one to the right. The file size is included in the title (or will be when I update them all), if you don't have broadband it is probably best to stick to the smaller files.

The clips may play better if you  right click on the image and select  "save target as". This will save the file onto your hard disk before playing it rather than trying to play it as it downloads. I have also included some details of the web camera we are using.

The first couple of years we just had a pair of adult badgers, but in 2009 we had cubs for the first time! In 2010 we have cubs again, this time 3 of them..
